MANAGE A VENUE AND GET PAID!

For our “Small Town, Big Celebration”, Rockport New Year’s Eve has found that things go more smoothly if there is a manager at each venue throughout the evening. This is far too much to ask of a volunteer, so we have created several paid positions. Venue Managers are paid $25/hour, and Venue Assistants are paid $20/hour. 4. Venue Assistant for Spiran Hall Upstairs-4PM to midnight (this position involves helping musicians to carry their equipment up stairs.)

VOLUNTEER TWO HOURS AND ATTEND RNYE FREE!

Rockport New Year’s Eve also needs over 50 volunteers. We need people to serve as “Greeters” at many of our 10 venues (where you get to enjoy the show at the same time!), as well as people to help out at “Headquarters,” selling admission buttons and answering questions.   We also need volunteers earlier in the day – plus the day before and day after – to help set up venues on Dec. 30, then take it all down and clean up on Jan. 1, leaving everything as we found it.

It’s the kind of “work” that’s also great fun, doing it together as a team with friends and neighbors from the community!  Plus, volunteers who work at least two hours during any of the three days receive a complimentary admission button to attend all events free of charge!
